The Lion 90.7fm came to Clearpoint Business Group looking for a new website. Their previous website lacked mobile compatibility, was slow to load, and difficult to update. Our mission: create a responsive, mobile-optimized website for their growing radio station. The website needed to have member profiles, dynamic show schedules, and real-time streaming of internet radio.
The Lion 90.7fm is Penn State University’s student-run radio station. Located in University Park, PA, The Lion 90.7fm broadcasts to an over 40,000 student audience and the greater community of State College, Pennsylvania. With a wide variety of music, sports, and talk programming, The Lion 90.7fm provides students the ability to unleash creative expression and gain real-world experience in broadcasting.
The Lion 90.7fm’s new website experienced a 75% traffic boost and 45% faster load time. Regular content updates provide listeners with the latest in music news and Penn State sports content. Fans of the station could see dynamically-updating show schedules with built-in podcast integration. Finally, members are able to showcase themselves in the Member Directory and grow their personal brands.
