At Clearpoint Business Group, we're proud to support the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs. Since 2015, Clearpoint Business Group has been a proud supporter of DECA and its programs at the local, state, and international level.

Our journey with DECA began in 2015 when we started partnering with local and state staff to support student officers and competitions. From designing digital platforms for competitive event experiences to creating innovative approaches to program management and analytics, our team has been hands-on in helping students develop the skills they need to thrive in business, marketing, and leadership.

That commitment has only grown. Today, Clearpoint Business Group is a recognized partner at DECA’s flagship event—the International Career Development Conference (ICDC). Held annually, ICDC brings together over 20,000 high school and collegiate DECA members from around the world to compete, learn, and connect. The conference features competitive events, leadership academies, networking opportunities, and executive mentoring sessions that prepare students for real-world success.

This year in Orlando, our CEO, Alex Mellott, once again served as a volunteer judge and executive mentor, participating in the entrepreneurship events and mentoring students through DECA’s Executive Mentor Program. These events challenge students to think critically, pitch ideas, and present comprehensive business strategies to panels of industry professionals. From reviewing business plans and financial projections to evaluating marketing strategies and innovation potential, Clearpoint Business Group was honored to help shape the experience of tomorrow’s innovators.

Clearpoint Business Group's support also extends to DECA’s scholarship program. As part of DECA’s National Advisory Board, we fund three $1,000 scholarships annually for students with a passion for entrepreneurship. These scholarships reflect our belief that access to opportunity should never be a barrier to ambition. Our scholarships are part of DECA’s broader Corporate Scholarship Program, which awards over $200,000 annually to deserving students across a range of industries and interests.

We’re also proud to collaborate with DECA’s leadership teams to ensure that student voices are heard and celebrated. Whether it’s providing feedback on publications, sharing strategic insights, or helping promote volunteer opportunities, we’re committed to amplifying the impact of DECA’s mission.
